Dr. Estevan Tinoco, D.D.S.

Hey, ya'll, I am Dr. Estevan Tinoco, one of the co-founders and owners of Rooted Dental Wellness. Most of my patients call me Dr. T. Like “T” for tooth ; )

As a health care professional, I firmly believe that our oral health is systemically linked. As a practitioner, I am traditionally trained but holistically minded. I treat the mouth as an organ and know that other medical issues may be contributing to or worsening the conditions in your mouth.

I am grateful to have a talented & empathetic staff here at Rooted Dental Wellness that is alongside me providing comprehensive and airway-centric dentistry. Without them, I could not fulfill our mission. We're thankful to the community for trusting us with their oral and overall health.

I attended University Of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and graduated with my doctorate in dental surgery in 2016. Since then, I have been continuing my education in airway-centric dentistry, holistic dentistry, and biocompatible dentistry.

Besides teeth, I enjoy spending quality and intentional time with my wife backpacking through State and National Parks, listening to vinyl & live music, traveling, and cooking re-imagined plant-based family recipes.

Ashley Beels, MA, RDH, OMT 

Hi friends! I’m Ashley, and I’m one of the co-founders and owners here at Rooted Dental Wellness. I am also the founder of Untethered where I perform Oral Myofunctional Therapy helping others with their jaw issues, swallowing dysfunction, tongue ties, and sleep-disordered breathing.

I have additional training in dental hygiene, sleep-medicine dentistry, airway-centric dentistry, nutritional counseling, tobacco cessation, disordered eating counseling, biocompatible dentistry, TMJ pain, and oral myofunctional therapy.

Those who know me call me a “forever student”, and they are not wrong. I am currently in a writing program at Harvard Medical for effective writing in healthcare that I am very excited about! My educational background started in dental hygiene at University Of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, and then I got my master’s degree at Cal Poly in Educational Leadership and Administration.

Outside of dentistry, you’ll find me getting cozy at home binging on a juicy Netflix Docu-Series alongside my wife, spending time with our dogs (all 5 of them), supporting our favorite local restaurants, writing, taking long weekend road trips, or walking on the beach with a friend enjoying some vitamin D and their company.
